Projects to begin this year - 2008

Colorado Springs Capital Projects
Colorado Springs Maintenance Projects
El Paso County Capital Projects
Mountain Metropolitan Projects
City of Manitou Springs
Town of Green Mountain Falls

The Pikes Peak Rural Transportation Authority (PPRTA) has a budget that includes phase one work on 13 capital projects within the city limits.  Some of the projects must undergo the design phase before construction can actually begin.

In addition to the capital improvements, nearly $22.6 million in maintenance projects will be funded.  This money will repair and maintain bridges, curbs, gutters, sidewalks, concrete, ADA-compliant pedestrian ramps and roadways.

The remaining funds of $6 million will go to transit improvements, including new service to Briargate, Rockrimmon and Norwood.
