Nevada Avenue Capital Project
The proposed
improvements include an additional through lane for Austin Bluffs Pkwy.,
both eastbound and westbound.
Double
left-turn lanes will be added for eastbound to northbound, westbound to
southbound, and southbound to eastbound movements. The southbound to
westbound right-turn movement will be changed to a signal controlled
movement. An acceleration lane will be added for
eastbound
to southbound
right turn. A protected left acceleration lane will be included for the
northbound to westbound movement from Mallow Rd. Estimated project cost:
$4,474,400 (2005 = $3,995,000; 2006 = $479,400). Estimated schedule:
Final Design/ROW/Bid – July 2005 to
July
2006; Construction –
July-December
2006.
